Brian Norton & Jon Sartorelli are your 2024 ELITE13 TEAM OF THE YEAR!!!! WWWOOWOWWW!!!!! What a finish! There weren’t a lot of scenarios that had these guys on top, but it just goes to show you that anything is possible!
They came to the scales in 2nd place for TOY, and needed a win to give themselves a chance, and that’s exactly what they did. Bringing the biggest bag of the day to the scales weighing 17.88 lbs, anchored by a beauty 5.00 lb largemouth, these guys did what they needed to do. Drama, controversy, down to the wire…. this season has rivaled the professional series, just with wayyyyyy less drama and better attitudes!! hahaahh
Congratulations on a great year, gents!
Not to be outdone, but Jason Girard & Mike Tiedemann fought their butts off and had a fantastic season as the BIG MONEY WINNERS of the year! For their efforts, they will be rewarded with hugs, high fives, and the occasional dap. They needed a top 6 finish to claim the TOY title, but came up just shy. Its teams like these that make it incredibly fun to be a director and bring everyone together.

Coming in 2nd on the day was the rookies from Maine, Chris Nichols & Jason Gardner, with a respectable summer Winnisquam bag of 11.21 lbs, anchored by a nice 4.3 lb largie. First time on this body of water for these guys, and they made it look easy!
We appreciate you guys coming over to live free or die this season and hopefully we’ll see you again next year!

Bringing in 3rd place weight was the consistent team of Nick & Colin Karos! These guys have been all over the score sheets this season between elites and opens, winning striker gear, and throwin’ smiles in everyone’s faces. We hope to see more of these guys in the future! They brought in a 3rd place weight of almost 10 lbs for a nice $150 pay day on a tough bite.

Honorable mention for me since I didn’t get much ink this season… I was able to salvage a TRB3 qualification with this smallmouth, my biggest of the year at 4.06 lbs. If we did split lunker, I would have won some money, but we don’t so I go home empty handed, but with memories of catching a great fish in the final event of my season.

I can’t wait to sit back and watch the Element Cup from the sidelines this year hahahahahahahahaah… On a related note, there may be some changes next season that include something like…. ***I automatically qualify for everything since I am the director*** Anyone have any objections??!?! HAHAHAAH
Overall, I think the ELITE13 season was a very enjoyable experience. I know it was less tournaments than everyone is used to, but life gets in the way. It was a big change from the previous years, and I want to thank all of you for continuing with me on this thing. I like the structure, I LOVE the midweeks, and most importantly, the weekends are free for me to coach and spend time with family!
